He is what most people would call a “natural,” as in he’s a natural with women. Meeting Women At Work.. Are You Al Bundy?

I answered a question on the forum, and thought that it would make an interesting article (skip forwards to the quote if you want.) It’s a fact that many of us have the opportunity to meet women while at work. Perhaps you are in the service sector, and attractive women are sometimes your customer. Or maybe you’re in a corporate office where there is a women that you’d like to meet. If you are holding yourself back in these situations then I’m guessing it’s not just due to a lack of flirtation skills, but also because of fears and concerns about what you think is acceptable behaviour in the work place.

In my corporate engineering career I often found myself in client offices with some absolutely beautiful women. Coffee Shop Day Game Save My Sanity!

On and off for the last several years I’ve worked by telecommuting, which is a widespread modern phenomenon since proliferation of the internet. Some of the advantages include; avoiding rush hour traffic, more flexible use of your work and leisure time, and working from home.

The biggest disadvantage is.. working from home! I teach interpersonal communication skills, and anyone who has telecommuted for a prolonged period of time will agree that the lack of social interaction can actually become depressing. While I don’t miss working in a cubicle I do miss the social office environment.

A few days ago I was posting on some technology message board when I stumbled upon a post from a guy who said he was so lonely working from his home office. He said that although he makes really good money, he spends on average 9 hours a day in a little room, with nobody to talk to, and the loneliness was really getting to him. Read more

Tonight I was driving past a Blockbuster video store, when I saw a cute blond girl through the window staring at a rack of videos.
