    Here is a list of common PUA (Pickup Artist) terms, as used on message boards online over the last several years, where men talk about how to pickup women. Meanings and originator are also list where the information was available.

    of seeing her or of making eye contact.
    AFC Average Frustrated Chump
    AI Approach Invitation
    AI: Anti-AI Either a conscious or unconscious action by a woman to indicate
    that she wants you to STAY AWAY.
    AMOG Alpha Male Other Guy
    Anchor Associating an emotional state or thought in a person’s mind
    with one of the senses, such as with a touch or sound, or visual movement.
    Visually would be called a Spacial Anchor. Once an Anchor has been set
    it can be moved on a sliding scale to either amp-up or turn-down the state,
    by combing pattern language with changes to the anchor. This is a standard

    BAFC Below Average Frustrated Chump

    Bitch Shield Contrary to how it sounds, this is not used in a derogatory
    manner. This is a barrier that women put up to prevent guys from hitting
    on her, and is usually implemented in higher intensity situations such
    as clubs.
    C&F (also CF, C/F) Cocky and Funny David DeAngelo
    CB Cockblock
    Close Could mean anything from getting a phone number to getting
    a lay. Therefore there are several derivatives; @close, #close, *close,
    !close, f close.

    Kino Kinesthetic – The use of physical touching. The term comes
    from NLP, and is a core part of Speed Seduction.
    LDR Long Distance Relationship
    LR Lay Report
    LSE Low Self Esteem
    LTR Long Term Relationship
    mASF Moderated ASF
    MLTR Multiple Long Term Relationships
    MM Mystery Method Mystery
    Neg or Neg Hit Part of Mystery Method in showing Active Disinterest. These
    can range from sending your target little ambiguous comments to actual
    insults, depending upon the level of self esteem and social value of your
    target. Usually apllied as casual ambiguous comments that on one hand seem
    like a compliment but are actually the opposite. They convey that you are
    not sexally interested in the target, and are very effective while you
    build social value in her group of friends.    		 Mystery
    NLP Neuro-Linguistic Programming Richard Bandler and John Grinder
    Obstacle Other person who is blocking your chances with your target,
    or coupld potentially block you.    		 Mystery
    Oneitis or One-it is Being obsessed with only one woman, and thinking that she
    is so special that no other girl will satisfy you.
    ONS One Night stand
    Pattern Specifically structured language to induce a desired emotional
    state (or mood) in your target.    		 Ross Jeffries
    Pawn A woman who is used (unknowingly) to increase your social
    value. They are created on the fly by gaming women who are not intended
    to be a target, so that you will be socially proofed in the eyes of others.    		 Mystery
    Pivot Similar to a Pawn except that they already know you and are
    either just friends or one of your MLTR’s. They may or may not be aware
    of their Pivot status. You can also create Pivots on the fly.    		 Mystery
    Player Another term for a PUA (Pick-Up Artist)
    PU Pick-Up – Actually picking up women or referring to the art
    of pick-up.

    RAFC Recovering Average Frustrated Chump
    RJ Ross Jeffries – The father of the seduction community with
    Speed Seduction.
    Sarge Going out to meet and seduce women. Created by Ross Jeffries
    as a useful term used by Speed Seduction students, and now adopted by almost
    everyone in the seduction community. The term comes from the name of one
    of Ross’ previous cats.    		 Ross Jeffries
    SHB Super Hot Babe
    Shit Test Either used consciously or unconsciously by women to test
    a guy’s response, so that she can screen out guys based upon their attitude.    		 Tyler Durden
    Social Proof A key element of the psychology of influence based upon the
    concept fo social value. There are certain things that you can do to increase
    your social value. For example you will be socially proofed if you are
    with several SHB’s that are completely into you. Or perhaps you are just

    SOI Statement Of Intnet or a Show Of Interest.
    SP (Self Point) Self Point. This is a form of anochoring states to you, as

    Target The woman that you intend to seduce. Mystery

    UG Ugly Woman
    Wing or Wingman Another PUA who sarges with you, and ideally where you both
    assist each other’s sarges and help improve your skills together.
